Battle of Legoland

Paul digs out his Battlewagons rules again, this time a hypothetical encounter based upon the real life Battle of Heligoland, which saw the deployment of Austro-Hungarian naval assets in assistance of Prussia during the Second Schleswig War.

Feeling a bit whacked after Xmas and the New Year I sat this one out and watched\dozed off instead.



The forces were evenly matched with each having a couple of Ironclads supported by a couple of more conventional ships. Each pair of ships they split off into their own individual little battles. After a prolonged slugathon between the two forces the Danes finally got a bit of the upper-hand.
