The Vikings!

A mass brawl between eight differing clans of Vikings as they pine for the fjords and the hidden gold located there.

Rules for combat are the same as used for the Irish Campaign, basically a modified version of the SPI War of the Rings rules, but with boats added.

At the start everybody rolled to see who their natural friends and enemies were. The Bjork clan, were obviously shrieky outsiders from across the sea and ended up with three enemies.

Tel and Dave S came to an early agreement to check out the closest island to them, each taking one of the two potential treasure locations on it.



With the treasure now narrowed down all the ships converge upon the remaining possible location, but some did seem to be hanging back a little just to see how the carnage would evolve.



With only one survivor each left, and two needed to move the treasure chest, the previous mortal enemies became best friends and agreed to share whatever was in the box. The other parties were too busy capturing each others valuable ships to stop them, despite them not technically meeting the victory conditions of taking the treasure to the alehouse.
